ABOUT ME

I am predominantly interested in cultural identities and how we as individuals relate to and interpret them. Be it through symbolism or by using principles of design I aim to create works that encourage a feeling of awe and connectedness to the immediate surrounding environment.

I also have enormous respect and admiration for Public Art that works well. I strongly believe in its ability to define and inspire a social space in ways that nothing else can. Offering an emotional and intellectual energy and often even intensity to a space. Outside of a religious context there are few other forms of fixed creative expression that all people, all classes and all cultures can identify with.

A public space void of artistic intent is one without a moral or emotional sense of identity or (for lack of a better word) soul.
