1.  forms resembling those of biological, organic and anatomical structures.
2.  forms resembling those created by humankind, those containing order through geometry.
  the combination of such forms and the further combination of them, using a familiar figurative element.
3.  the hand, the creator, to which we owe our existence, to which we owe our demise.
 i have been/am producing works that could be perceived as a symbiotic metamorphosis of otherwise disparate forms or as an auto sycophantic manipulation by that of its self upon its self.

Hands
 rather than using the human figure as a means of representing humankind I am instead using the human hand. the reason being that the hand, a symbol of human creation, will be subject to forces of control, though this control or manipulation of self is the result of that created by humans themselves. also, hands themselves have the ability to express as much emotion and dynamism as the figure itself. although finished works may not resemble a hand, expression and dynamism are hopefully the result of using an expressionistic hand gesture as a basis.
